This toy hauler already had an off-grid system installed with lithium batteries, a 1500W inverter, and a single 200W solar panel. The existing panel wasn't sufficient, so we gave it an upgrade!

We installed two more 200W solar panels, with room to add three more in the future. The 30A PWM solar charge controller from the factory needed to be replaced, so we added a 100A MPPT controller. While it is oversized for now, this will allow for an easy solar upgrade in the future. Only the three solar panels on the roof need to be added, while the charge controller itself won't have to be replaced.

This trailer is now better equipped for longer boondocking trips, as well as an easy solar upgrade when needed.
