2016 Jayco Greyhawk 31FK
The goal of this installation was to ensure continuous power for full-time living for the owner and their dog. We installed a large lithium battery bank and solar array to minimize the need for the onboard generator or shore power. This is essential for constant travel and being as inconspicuous as possible while resting. The batteries are also charged via the alternator while the engine is running. The inverter is large enough to power all of the 120V electronics, including the microwave and air conditioner.
We made sure to leave extra room for future upgrades if needed. The battery bank can easily be expanded thanks to the large passthrough storage area. Additional solar panels can also be added to maximize the amount of solar energy that's captured. Thanks to the reliable equipment from Victron Energy and Renogy, this motorhome has clean, renewable, and reliable power wherever it goes!
