This truck camper came with one 100W solar panel and one 12V lead acid battery. With room to add an additional solar panel, battery, and inverter, the owner purchased the supplies to do so but decided to reach out to us for installation.

We added the additional panel and swapped out the generic PWM charge controller with a new Victron MPPT solar charge controller. While adding an extra battery, we made with switch from lead acid to lithium iron phosphate batteries. We also installed DC bus bars to simplify the wiring going to the batteries. Additionally, we added a standalone 2000W inverter with its own outlet and remote control panel. These upgrades allows this truck camper to enjoy the benefits of solar power for much longer than before, with the option for AC power when needed!
